St Mary's Hospice @stmaryshospice
Brilliant visit from Mark Cumberland today in support of his charity night. He popped into our afternoon session and met our very own 'hound dog' Otis.
Mark will be singing as an Elvis tribute on Friday 21st of April at the Ulverston Sports club. “It’s going to be an excellent night and we’re doing it for two great charities, St Mary’s Hospice and the First Responders. St Mary's is a great cause, my partner's father received care here before he passed away.”
With an impressive setlist of up to 40 songs Mark said “I’ll be singing a range of his early and late work, and of course the big hits like ‘Suspicious Minds’. I’ll also be hitting the high notes to ‘American Trilogy’ which a lot of people find difficult to sing.”
He was joined by his friend of many years and First Responder David Jones. David has been a volunteer First Responder for around 12 months now and he added “The funding from a night like this is essential for us, our first responder kits are vital to our work and currently we only have 2 kit bags between 3 of us.”
