St Mary's Hospice @stmaryshospice
Many thanks to Angela Peters who called in to St Mary's, with her gift of five beautifully hand crafted Syringe Driver bags, and five bags to keep personal items in.
Angela was looking for a project and started making the bags over a year ago after getting in touch with "Making For Charity". They sent out the Syringe
driver bags, materials and a pattern.
Angela has already donated 12 bags in December. Angela's painter and decorator Phil Rea managed to obtain some free samples of material from Wards to support her project. The materials have been selected and sewn by Angela to create the items for St Mary's patients.
Angela said: "I chose the hospice because it's local and I have had personal experience of the care and MacMillan nurses."
These will no doubt bring a smile to our patients, and it's thoughtful items like this that can make a big difference. Thank you Angela.
