If so, why not sign up for our 7 week Mindfulness Based Dementia Care Programme. As well as meeting others in a similar situation and gaining and giving mutual support, you’ll also learn how to:

• Use Mindfulness approaches to relax more and view stressful situations from a new angle. (Mindfulness is being used very successfully in a range of situations such as schools for exam preparation and health to relieve pain).
• Dementia training that helps you connect more effectively with the person you support leading to an improved quality of life for you both.

Starting on Thursday 28th May 2.30 – 4.30 at St Mary’s Hospice, Ford Park Crescent, Ulverston, LA12 7JP and then the following 6 consecutive Thursdays
