Mossop Memorials kind donation 02-Mar-2016
At St Mary’s Hospice, our Memory Tree offers a unique and meaningful way to remember a loved one whilst helping to raise funds for the hospice. Each leaf
that families buy helps us to make a difference to people with life-shortening illnesses and their loved one. This unique sculpture will be adorned
with a total of 250 autumnal coloured leaves, creating a stunning piece of art. Each leaf can be engraved with the name of a loved one as a lasting
tribute to their memory. The Memory Tree is displayed upon an external wall at our main entrance, where families can take time see their lasting tribute
to their loved ones.
Anne and Glyn Caine from Mossop Memorials have kindly donated a plaque to help explain how the memory tree works.
Geoff Steele, Legacy and Individual Giving Fundraiser: “We felt the tree needed a small sign to highlight its purpose and how we intend to look after it
in the future. Anne and Glyn from Mossop Memorials were very helpful from the outset and we are very pleased with their gift.”
Glyn Caine added: “We were pleased to be able to help, and happy to do this for St Mary’s Hospice.”
