St Mary's Hospice @stmaryshospice
We’d like to thank the Rotary Club of Furness for raising £200 for the hospice. The cheque was presented by Pauline Gardner, Rotary President and Trixie Faraday, club member and the wife of the late Peter Farraday.
One of our nurses Solveig Hunt attended a regular meeting of our friends at the Rotary Club of Furness. Solveig gave an insight into her duties and did a Q & A with the members. Many of the members present had volunteered as Marshals on this year’s Keswick to Barrow and we’re very grateful for their support.
The Rotary Club of Furness organises the wonderful Tour de Furness which has raised over 300K for St Mary's and other charities over its history.
Rotary Clubs do amazing work that benefits our local community and are always seeking new members.
