Ways to support us

Play for a chance to win £1,000 each week

The St Mary's Lottery is a fun and simple way to support our work. Each Lottery number costs just £1 per week to play for the chance to win one of 14 weekly cash prizes.

Win up to £1,000 each week and become one of the amazing people that now help us to care for 1 in 5 of our patients.

Our Lottery members are very important to us. We know that in these difficult times people don't always have a lot of money to give, but our weekly Lottery members make a tremendous difference to our work. Lottery members are now responsible for generating 20% of the voluntary income we need to run our services.

  • 1st prize: £1,000
  • 2nd prize: Rollover starting at £200 & peaking at £10,000 where a winner will be guaranteed!
  • 3rd prize: £200
  • 4th prize: £100
  • Plus 10 cash prizes at £20

When you join you will be allocated your own unique lottery membership number which is entered into our weekly draw. The draw takes place every Friday. One lucky person will win the top prize of £1,000 and 13 others will win other cash prizes. If you are a lucky winner there is no need to claim your prize, we will automatically send it to you in the post.

All Lottery Members will be entered into our Summer Super Draw, drawn on Friday 3 July.

Please note that the winning lottery numbers are published on our website and displayed in our shops.

You can join our Lottery today using the online application form. Or call our Fundraising Team on 01229 580305. Good luck! And thank you for your support.

Congratulations to Mrs Rosemary Horwood on winning this week’s Superdraw prize of £5,000!

Mrs Horwood started to play St Mary’s Hospice lottery as she wants to ‘support the hospices movement’. Rosemary’s mother passed away in the 1970s at home, when there weren’t many hospices around. She described this as a difficult time for her mother, family and friends.

Not so long ago Rosemary’s close friend passed away of cancer, and she spent her last couple of weeks in the care of a hospice and said how different, wonderful and amazing it was to see her friends last days so peaceful in comparison to her mothers.

Thank you for supporting St Mary’s Hospice!
