Richard’s career included senior management positions in the food manufacturing and business services sectors. Since moving to Cumbria fifteen years ago, he has been a trustee of a number of local charities including Age UK, where he has been Chairman of Age UK South Lakeland and Chairman of the North West Association of Age UK’s.
He lives in Windermere, is widowed and has four children and ten grandchildren. Interests include hill walking, choral singing and playing bridge.
Richard aims to bring his business and charity trustee experience to support the Hospice as it continues to develop its invaluable services to the local community.
