Complementary Therapy
Therapies are provided for patients and their families, including family members who have been bereaved.
People are assessed and a treatment programme is agreed – individually or in a group.
Therapies Include:
- Aromatherapy
- Body Massage
- Reflexology
- Reiki/Therapeutic touch
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Relaxation
- Meditation
- Breathlessness Management Programme
- Anxiety & Stress Management Programme
- Fatigue & Energy Management Programme
- ‘Moving On’ Programme
Group therapy is provided every Wednesday afternoon as part of the Day Hospice programme.
We also provide other group work sessions including:
- Breathlessness Management
- Relaxation Skills sessions
- Young Patient’s Self Help & Coping Skills
- Living with COPD
We accept referrals from the health and social care community and from patients and families directly.
