Trudi’s 2.6 challenge! You could be a winner with Trudi …

This Sunday 26th April, I should have been on the start line of the London Marathon, running and raising money for St Mary’s Hospice.

Unfortunately, because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the London Marathon, along with many other huge events across the UK, have been either cancelled or postponed until later on in the year.

The London Marathon had been rescheduled and will now take place on Sunday 4th October 2020, for which I am extremely happy to have kept my place and still run for The Hospice.

The cancellation of such a massive fundraising event, has left a huge hole in charity income, especially that of St Mary’s.

With the recent re-opening of the In-Patient Unit at St Mary’s, this is the perfect time to push my fundraising and raise some invaluable funds for the Hospice and for the amazing work they are doing during this challenging time.

The Virgin London Marathon has teamed up with UK charities and created the 2.6 Challenge, beginning on Sunday 26th April which should have been the date of the 40th London Marathon.

So, this Sunday, I will be doing my own 2.6 Challenge.

As most people know, the Marathon is 26.2 miles, it would have been held on the 26th April, so the challenge was to incorporate the numbers 2 + 6.

As restrictions are still in place regarding social distancing, I will be doing my challenge at home and will be running up and down the stairs for 26 minutes.

Simple? Ok..

HERE’S YOUR CHANCE TO GET INVOLVED AND WIN A MEAL FOR UP TO 4 PEOPLE –

On every donation made (of over £2.60 or multiples there of) made to my Justgiving page, please guess how many times I will run up and down my staircase in 26 minutes!#
The person who guesses correctly will win a meal for up to 4 people including a bottle of wine at The Stan Laurel Inn as soon as things get back to normal.

Note: There are 4 small flights of stairs over 2 floors
Up AND down = ONE (from the bottom to the top and back down again)
Please make sure you add your name so we can contact you if you are our lucky winner
All correct answers will go in to a draw and the winner will be drawn at random

Good luck!
