Olivia’s Story

Olivia attended one of the Make, Do and Mend Workshops following the sad death of four of her Grandparents. Here Olivia shares his story-

“I decided to join the Make, Do and Mend Workshop to learn something new whilst receiving support. It was good to talk to others who were also experiencing loss and to know that I wasn’t on my own. There was no expectation for me to talk about my loss, however I found myself opening up about how I was feeling and also supporting others within the group. I really felt that the older members of the group took me under their wing”

Olivia explained-
“Be brave and give it a try. Once you are at the workshop you will soon feel settled. The group were so welcoming and supportive. I have not just gained new skills and support from the group but also friendship.”

Our next Make, Do and Mend Workshop starts Wednesday 20th March and we will be offering both AM and PM sessions.
