Without the support of our community we simply could not exist. A large part of my role is to bring in the funds which ensure the sustainability of the hospice to make a difference to our patients and their family’s lives. Fundraising is no longer about ‘rattling a tin’ but about ensuring we offer different kinds of fundraising initiatives that engage with the diversity of our population. One size does not fit all and nor should it! Another part of my role is to ensure we thank our donors and share the impact of what they have enabled through their support. This is without a doubt one of my favourite parts of my job.
