Volunteering opportunities
Your employees can gain and enhance numerous skills by volunteering, including project management, team work and communication skills. There are ongoing patient and non-patient facing volunteering roles at St Mary’s Hospice, as well as opportunities to create volunteering days unique to your company.
Corporate Volunteers – A case study
A team from Marks and Spencer in Barrow have visited the hospice to tackle jobs that just never quite get done. Providing the paint, materials and man power, they transformed the fundraising offices from drab and dreary to bright and cheery in less than a week in the summer of 2018.
