Annabelle Holloway

Corporate Fundraising Manager

Annabelle initially joined St Mary’s as an Area Fundraising Manager back in June 2022, where she was responsible for overseeing both community and corporate fundraising. Annabelle had prior experience of working within the hospice sector as she had joined from the fundraising team at St John’s Hospice in Lancaster.

After a year in role, it was decided that we needed extra resource in the fundraising team, particularly to focus on corporate fundraising. Having studied Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at university and having experience working in the CSR team at Disney, Annabelle had developed a particular interest in the reciprocal relationships between charities and businesses. Therefore, she threw her hat in the ring for the role as Corporate Partnerships Manager and was successfully appointed in September 2023.

It is therefore Annabelle’s role to establish, build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships between St Mary’s Hospice and businesses across the Furness and South Lakes area. Annabelle is keen to work with any business who wishes to support St Mary’s Hospice, whether this is through donating funds, time or resources. Annabelle is passionate about ensuring that all businesses that support St Mary’s receive the publicity, recognition and thanks that they deserve.

Outside of work, Annabelle enjoys walking in the beautiful Lake District, kayaking, playing badminton and spending time with her cat, Sergei. Annabelle is also currently learning Spanish through an online evening course – her dream is to be able to communicate in a language that is not her native tongue.
