Serving Invisible Chips with Visible Impact

At our Orangery Cafe, we’ve added something a little different to our menu — Invisible Chips.

Yes, you read that right. They’re chips you can’t see, but they’re packed with something even better than flavour: support for the incredible people who make hospice care possible.

By “ordering” Invisible Chips, our guests are making a direct contribution to St Mary’s Hospice. Every penny raised goes towards helping the hospice provide expert, compassionate care to local people and their families when they need it most.

This simple but powerful idea is more than just a fun menu addition — it’s a way for our community to come together and make a difference in people’s lives.

How it works

  • Guests choose Invisible Chips from the menu.
  • Instead of food arriving at their table, their donation goes straight to St Mary’s Hospice.
  • Everyone gets to be part of something bigger, while raising awareness in a lighthearted and memorable way.

A call to other businesses

We’d love to see more cafés, pubs, and restaurants serving up Invisible Chips. It’s a brilliant way to support hospice care while engaging your customers in something unique. Imagine the collective impact if businesses across our community added this to their menus!

If you’re in hospitality, why not add Invisible Chips to your menu and show your support?
Email annabelle.holloway@stmaryshospice.org.uk to find out how you can get involved.

Let’s serve up invisible chips, visible generosity, and lasting support together.
