Dementia Awareness Training, Windermere

Would you like to better understand dementia and learn how to support someone living with the condition? Join St Mary’s Hospice for this free Dementia Awareness Training, delivered by Sophie, Admiral Nurse and Clinical Lead at St Mary’s Hospice.

This informative and supportive session is designed for anyone who wants to increase their understanding, whether you’re caring for a loved one, working with the public, or simply interested in learning more.

During the session you’ll:

  • Develop a better understanding of dementia
  • Learn how to communicate more effectively
  • Challenge common myths and stigma
  • Build confidence in supporting someone living with dementia
  • Discover practical ways to make a difference
