James, the founder of PR and marketing agency 32West, brings more than two decades of experience in the news media industry to his role as a trustee.

A former journalist and editor, he spent many years in the industry, earning several high-profile awards along the way. He now works with businesses to help tell their stories through innovative campaigns. James is also a podcast host and sits on the board of directors of a global ed-tech company.

Originally from Manchester, he now lives with his family in Cumbria, where he uses his expertise to support the communications strategies and initiatives at St Mary’s Hospice.
