Education Facilitator

Katie Eddy is an Education Facilitator at St Mary’s Hospice, dedicated to supporting staff, students, and volunteers through education and training. She joined the hospice in 2022 as a Quality Improvement Practitioner before transitioning into her current role within the education team.

Passionate about sharing her knowledge and skills, Katie plays a key role in supporting newly qualified nurses and students, helping them develop confidence and expertise in palliative and end-of-life care. With over 200 volunteers at St Mary’s Hospice, she is also responsible for ensuring they receive the necessary training to effectively contribute as valued members of the hospice team.
