Nikki Fisher

Nikki Fisher is an Education Facilitator at St Mary’s Hospice, bringing extensive experience in nursing and healthcare education. She qualified as a Registered Nurse (Adult) in 2002 and served in various healthcare roles within the British Army before transitioning to civilian nursing in 2005. Since then, she has worked in diverse nursing positions across the country before joining St Mary’s Hospice in 2016 as a staff nurse in both the Inpatient Unit (IPU) and Hospice at Home (H@H) teams. In 2022, she moved into the education department.

Nikki recently completed a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training and is deeply committed to delivering high-quality education in palliative and end-of-life care. She provides training to both hospice staff and the wider health and social care community, ensuring that professionals have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide compassionate and effective end-of-life care.

She firmly believes that there is only one opportunity to get it right for those at the end of life, and her mission is to equip healthcare and social care professionals with the expertise needed to make a meaningful difference.
