Compassionate Companies enjoy network meeting at Bender UK

During our Thank You week we held another meeting of our Compassionate Companies Network, this time kindly hosted by Bender UK in Ulverston.

Our Compassionate Companies enjoyed a wonderful morning of networking, connecting with their local hospice and learning more about the expertise and excellence at Bender UK.

We began with networking over a delicious breakfast generously donated by Booths Ulverston, followed by quick 60-second introductions around the room. Our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Annabelle Holloway, then shared an update from the hospice, before Sarah Goddard MCIPD MBACP from Turnstone HR led an insightful session on the myths surrounding the new employment law changes currently going through parliament.

To close, we enjoyed a corporate spotlight from Lisa Hudson BA DipM, MCIM, CMktr, Head of Marketing at Bender UK, who also gave the group a tour of their impressive model operating room and intensive care unit.

A huge thank you to Lisa and the team at Bender UK for hosting, to Sarah Goddard for the education session, to Booths for the tasty breakfast and to everyone who joined us on the day.

If you’d like to be part of our Compassionate Companies Network, please get in touch with our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Annabelle Holloway, at annabelle.holloway@stmaryshospice.org.uk.
