Make a Donation and Help St Mary’s Hospice

At St Mary’s Hospice we care for people in every town, village and street across Furness and South Lakes. Our services have always been free of charge but with less than 20% of our funding provided from the government, we rely on the generosity of our community to continue vital work.

To put this into perspective, 8 out of 10 patients are cared for through voluntary funding like shopping in our shops and cafes and fundraising.

Whether you choose to make a one-time donation or give monthly, your support means everything. Thank you for being there for your local hospice.

Your Donation Makes a Real Difference

Every donation, big or small, helps us provide compassionate, life-changing care to our patients and their loved ones. Here’s what your generosity can do:

  • £20 – Provides a comforting, home cooked meal for one of our patients, helping them feel cared for and at ease during a difficult time.
  • £30 – Funds a one-to-one bereavement support session for someone grieving the loss of a loved one, offering them the guidance and comfort they need.
  • £44 – Covers one hour of expert inpatient care in our Inpatient Unit (IPU), ensuring patients receive the dignity, support, and medical attention they deserve.

Your kindness helps us be there when it matters most.

Thank you for supporting our work.
