The Orangery Café at St Mary’s Hospice

Enjoy everything from a toasted teacake to a full Sunday lunch, alongside homemade cakes, a well-stocked specials board, and even a glass of wine or beer, all at the Orangery Café, Ulverston at St Mary’s Hospice.

With stunning views over Morecambe Bay from our sunny terrace, and a cosy Atrium space perfect for small celebrations or gatherings, dining with us is always a special experience. Dogs are welcome on the terrace and even have their own menu—plus, we’ve got undercover tables for those unpredictable showers!

Open 7 days a week from 10am, The Orangery Café offers much more than just sweet treats. From hearty breakfasts (served until 11.30am) to freshly prepared lunches (12.00–2.30pm), and our popular pre-booked afternoon teas from 1.45pm, there’s something for everyone. You can view the Orangery Café menu on the link to the right.

Our afternoon teas are just £20 per person (including hot drinks) and must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

The Orangery is open to all and offers table service both inside and out. Walk-ins are welcome, but booking is recommended—call us on 01229 483783 or email orangery@stmaryshospice.org.uk.
