St Mary’s Furniture Warehouse

Our Furniture Warehouse is the place to shop for quality secondhand furniture, homeware, and large household items – while supporting expert care for local families. 

Whether you’re donating a single item or clearing a full house, we’re here to help. We also offer a local delivery and collection service to make things easy.

Items We Love to Accept

  • All types of furniture, large and small Beds and bedroom furniture 
  • Sound and vision equipment 
  • Homeware and accessories 
  • Books and media 
  • White goods (must be in excellent condition and working order) 
  • Children’s toys and games

This is just a small sample of what we can accept. For larger donations (e.g. house clearances), we may be able to arrange a pre-visit to check what we can take.

Important Notes 

Upholstered furniture (including mattresses) must have a valid fire label attached and be free from marks, tears, or stains. 

All items must be in good, sellable condition. 

We appreciate your understanding if we occasionally need to decline donations-disposal costs for unsellable items take valuable funds from patient care. 

For legal and safety reasons, we cannot accept certain items. 

Please note: We are unable to collect clothing, footwear, and fashion accessories.

Delivery Service

We offer delivery on items purchased in the warehouse for a small fee throughout the South Lakes and Furness Peninsula. 

Ask in-store for details. Please make sure your chosen items will fit in your space – we may need to charge for removal of items that can’t be delivered successfully.
