Friday evening was nothing short of incredible. More than 1,200 of us came together for this year’s Walk to Remember, and the energy, love, and sense of community were felt in every step.
As the sun began to set, families and friends gathered with glowing bunny ears, photos, and stories of their loved ones. Everywhere you looked, you could see people embracing, laughing, sharing tears, and celebrating lives that will never be forgotten. It was a powerful reminder of why we do this walk each year — to honor, to remember, and to stand together.
The walk itself was beautiful. Seeing the long line of participants moving forward as one, each step carrying love and memory, was deeply moving. For many, this night is a chance to reflect, for others it’s a way to find healing, and for all of us, it’s a reminder that grief is never walked alone.
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us — whether you were walking for a parent, sibling, child, friend, or someone who simply touched your life. Every story matters, and together we created a night full of meaning, hope, and connection.
To our volunteers, sponsors, and community partners: thank you. Your hard work and support made everything possible — from the beautiful setup to the smooth flow of the evening.
And to our walkers: thank you for showing up with such open hearts. Seeing more than 1,200 people come together for this shared purpose is a powerful testament to the strength of our community.
We’ll be sharing the total funds raised very soon, and we cannot wait to celebrate the impact you’ve made possible. But for now, we’re just holding onto the joy and gratitude of Friday night.
It truly was a walk — and a night — to remember.
