Sterling remember and honour their beloved colleague by giving back

In December 2019 Sterling Lotteries, based in Barrow, lost a much loved member of their team, Yvonne Howe, they wanted to honour her memory and decided one of the best ways they could do so was give back in Yvonne’s name.

Denise Williams (Sterling) “At Sterling Lotteries we are delighted to support the fantastic work that is done by St Mary’s Hospice. We would like to make our annual donation of £10,000 in memory of our wonderful colleague Yvonne Howe, who sadly passed away from Lung Cancer. Yvonne had received such outstanding support from the St Mary’s Hospice at Home team that we wanted to thank everyone involved and make this donation to St Mary’s in her memory”

Helen Carlson (St Mary’s) “St Mary’s was born to serve our local community, our aim has always been to ensure our loved ones get treated with the dignity, respect and care they deserve. However, we only exist because of the ongoing support we receive from our community and Sterling has once again shown they truly care about giving back and ensuring we remain there for those who need us today and importantly for tomorrow. Thank you #inittogether
