St Mary’s to bring festive cheer to Ambleside with free community celebration

We invite you to the St Mary’s Hospice Community Christmas Celebration, an afternoon of festive fun, friendship and community spirit at Ambleside Parish Centre from 12noon to 3pm on Thursday 26th November 2026.

Hosted by St Mary’s community services team, the event will bring people together to enjoy festive activities, meet others and discover more about the support available locally.

Visitors can enjoy hot drinks, mince pies and soup, alongside festive bingo, a tombola and raffle, an art workshop and a chair-based exercise taster session.

The celebration will also provide an opportunity to meet the St Mary’s team, learn more about hospice care and discuss other services available to individuals and families in the area.

The event is free to attend, and anyone experiencing transport difficulties should contact us to discuss possible assistance. Everyone is welcome.
