Great North Run

Are you ready to take on one of the world’s greatest half marathons — and make a real difference while you do it? We’re offering limited charity places for the Great North Run, and we’d love for you to join us!

  • By running for our charity, every mile and every pound raised helps fund St Mary’s Hospice.
  • Charity places offer a guaranteed spot in the Great North Run ideal if you missed the ballot or want to be certain of your entry.
  • As part of our team you’ll receive a charity-branded running vest or top, fundraising materials, training and fundraising guidance, and ongoing support from our charity team from sign-up to finish line.

Charity places are open to runners of all abilities — whether you’re chasing a personal best, doing this as a challenge, or simply joining for the experience and cause. The Great North Run is known for its inclusive, high-energy atmosphere that welcomes everyone.

If you’d like to run the Great North Run with us — and help support our work — secure your charity place today. But act quickly — spaces are limited and tend to go fast.

Sign up below or get in touch for more information and support.
