Light Up A Life

St Mary’s would like to warmly invite you to be part of our 2025 “Light up a Life” service. For those of us who have lost loved one(s) we understand that Christmas can be a difficult time. Our Light up a Life service is designed to provide comfort, love and hope whilst giving families and friends an opportunity to celebrate the life of someone truly special to them.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps us be there for families at the most difficult times in their lives. It helps us offer comfort, dignity, and peace – just when it’s needed most.
There are two ways in which you can make a dedication –
• Make a regular donation in your loved one’s name and help protect the future of St Mary’s Hospice – As a thank you for your continued loyalty throughout the year St Mary’s would then gift you the opportunity to dedicate a name in memory of a loved one(s) year on year. Please follow this link to do so
• A one-off donation. Please complete the form below.

In return for your dedication, we will –
1. Dedicate a light to your loved one(s) during the festive period on our Christmas tree at St Mary’s Hospice.
2. Enter your loved one(s) name into our Order of Service which will be available to collect at either one of the church services, or from the reception desk at the hospice any time after 9th December.
3. Place your personalised message star on our tree, alongside your light that shines in memory of someone dear.
4. Your loved one’s name and dedication will appear in our online memorial book which will be available to view on our website from 17th December.

We are delighted to be able to invite you once again to join us at any one of the services detailed below. Our vision for these services is to be able to provide you with a safe space to come together with your family and friends in order to have an opportunity to reflect and celebrate the life of someone special to you.
