Education and Training at St Mary’s Hospice

The Education Team at St Mary’s Hospice is dedicated to delivering high-quality, up-to-date, and evidence-based education and training in End-of-Life and Palliative Care.

Our courses and workshops are designed for healthcare professionals, care support staff, and volunteers across all care settings, helping to develop, enhance, and improve the quality of care provided to patients and their families.

At St Mary’s, we believe that every patient and their loved ones deserve compassionate, well-informed care—enabling them to live well and, when the time comes, die with dignity in the manner and place of their choosing. Our goal is to equip care providers with the knowledge and skills necessary to make this possible.

In addition to our regular workshops and study days, we offer tailored in-house training upon request, ensuring that organisations receive education that meets their specific needs.

St Mary’s Hospice also offers a meeting room for hire for professional and community use.
