St Mary’s Hospice Education Team shortlisted for national Nursing Times Workforce Award

We’re delighted to announce that St Mary’s Hospice Education Team has been shortlisted for the 2026 Nursing Times Workforce Awards!

The national awards celebrate the people and teams making a positive difference to the nursing and wider healthcare workforce, and we’re incredibly proud to see the dedication and hard work of our Education Team recognised.

The team has been shortlisted in recognition of their fantastic work developing and delivering our education programme, supporting learning and development across St Mary’s Hospice and the wider community and health care sectors, and helping to ensure individuals and teams have the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to provide high-quality care.

Our courses and workshops are designed for healthcare professionals, care support staff, and volunteers across all care settings, helping to develop, enhance, and improve the quality of care provided to patients and their families.

Being named as a finalist is a wonderful achievement and a testament to the commitment, expertise and passion of everyone in our Education Team.

A national celebration of workforce excellence

The Nursing Times Workforce Awards 2026 will bring together finalists from across the UK to celebrate the achievements of those helping to develop and strengthen the healthcare workforce.

The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 24th November 2026 at the Hilton London Metropole, where the winners will be announced.

We’re looking forward to celebrating with our Education Team and all of the other finalists at what promises to be a fantastic evening.
