Expedition Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech & Transfer to Aroumd (2000m)

After landing in Marrakech, we will transfer by private transport to the mountain village of Imlil (approx. 90-minute drive). From here, a short but steady one-hour hike will take us to Aroumd, our base for the night. A trip briefing will be conducted in the evening to go over the details of the trek.
Meals Provided: None (snacks recommended for the journey).

Day 2 – Acclimatization Hike to Esk N Tangawt (2600m)

To help adjust to the altitude, we will embark on an acclimatization hike to Esk N Tangawt. This gentle climb will allow our bodies to prepare for the higher altitudes we will encounter in the coming days.
Meals Provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 3 – Trek to Toubkal Refuge (3207m)

Today, we head toward the base of Mount Toubkal, where we will stay at the Toubkal Refuge for two nights. Our luggage will be carried by mules as we follow a scenic trail through walnut groves and traditional Berber villages, passing Sidi Chamharouch before ascending into the high-altitude zone. The trek will take approximately 5 hours.
Meals Provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 4 – Acclimatization Hike to the South Col (3700m)

Another acclimatization day will see us slowly ascend to the South Col, gaining a few hundred meters in altitude. The afternoon will be spent resting, preparing, and soaking in the breathtaking mountain scenery.
Meals Provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 5 – Summit Day! Mount Toubkal (4167m) & Descent to Aroumd

We begin our ascent before dawn, tackling steep and rocky terrain as we make our way to the summit of Mount Toubkal. After approximately 5 hours of climbing, we will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views over the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. We then descend back to Aroumd for a well-earned rest.
Meals Provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 6 – Recovery Hike & Return to Marrakech

In the morning, we take a short recovery hike around the village before transferring back to Marrakech. Once checked into our hotel, we will celebrate our achievement with a group dinner.
Meals Provided: Breakfast.

Day 7 – Explore Marrakech

Enjoy a free day to explore the vibrant souks, historical sites, and local cuisine of Marrakech. Optional activities include visiting the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, relaxing at a hammam, or shopping for souvenirs.
Meals Provided: Breakfast.

Day 8 – Departure

Bid farewell to Morocco as you head to the airport for your flight home.
