Dying Matters Week 2024
Today, we were thrilled to host our Love, Life, and Death event at the Forum theatre in Barrow, where we welcomed Pluto Productions to perform their play ‘Blue Skies’ written by Brian Daniels. The play cantered on the significance of hospice care and open communication, following the journey of a young man facing the impending loss of his mother. The event also offered an opportunity for reflection, fostering discussions on the topics of death, dying, and bereavement in a relaxed and supportive environment, while also highlighting the work of St Mary’s Hospice. We had a wonderful afternoon and would like to express our gratitude to our community for joining us!
