Lottery Canvassers

St Mary’s is now running a campaign in our community to ask you if you would like to sign up to play our Lottery on a regular basis, with the aim of recruiting more players to raise vital funds for our hospice. Please be assured that the canvassers are fully trained and will have full photographic ID on them at all times. If you get a visit from a member of our canvassing team, please consider joining our weekly lottery for just £1 a week, this will help us to continue to care for local people in your community. If you have been approached by a canvasser at your home and would like to check if they are legitimate, please refer to their names and pictures below:

Meet Fiona Coburn our Lottery Venue Canvasser

St. Mary’s are out in the local community signing up new players to the lottery. You might see Fiona, in your local bank, medical centre or one of many shops and supermarkets who support us. She’ll be wearing St. Mary’s Hospice branded clothing and will carry ID with her.

Meet Peter Fisher our lottery venue canvasser

Peter is a local man from Barrow and is currently canvassing in the Furness and Lakeland area.

We are confident that Fiona and Peter will be part of our fundraising integrity and will stop if you don’t want to be part of this or if they have any concerns over the vulnerability of the person they are speaking to. If you have and queries please contact our fundraising team on 01229 580 305 or email Clare Shields  clare.shields@stmaryshospice.org.uk
