The hospice is really close to mine and my family’s heart. It enabled me to be a daughter with him in his final days and I will never forget that.

The Hospice at Home team gave my mum the ability to remain
at home with such compassion and medical care with her family by her side.

I never knew that they offered night support, allowing Dad to get much needed rest, the hospice had one of their team stay overnight, keeping her eye on Mum and attending to her every need.

That moment, the space to collect myself and the freedom that I was given, are my significant moments. I return to them often, always aware that it was St. Mary’s that enabled me to have them

These meetings gave us all strength and confidence to give Pat the best care we could.

Making that phone call was the best thing I’ve ever done.
