Jane is a Chartered Accountant who worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Manchester Airport PLC. She moved to Cumbria in 2003 to work for local educational publisher CGP as Finance Director, before becoming Managing Director in 2015. Jane left CGP in 2021 and is currently completing a Masters in Medical Law and Ethics at Edinburgh University.
Having cared for two loved ones at the end of their lives, becoming a Trustee of St Mary’s Hospice is incredibly important to Jane, as she has first hand experience of the incredible support and care that Hospices provide to both patients and their families.
Jane lives near Kendal, and spends her spare time on the fells with her dog and partner or on the bike, depending on how her knees are!
