Registered Nurse

up to 37.5 hr per wk

 

Would you like to deliver high quality hands-on palliative nursing care in our 9-bedded specialist in-patient unit?

We provide symptom management, respite care and end of life care for people with cancer and other life-shortening conditions.

Come and join our forward thinking, caring & professional team. Palliative care experience desirable but not essential as we will provide specialist palliative care education and preceptorship.

You can bring your NHS Pension with you.

Caring Canvassers required for our Weekly Lottery – Ulverston & Surrounding areas

 

We are looking for full and part time door canvassers to recruit players to our St Marys Hospice lottery.

The lottery is a popular, low cost and fun way to support the charity. If you are a great communicator and have sound people skills, this could be the change you are looking for. This is a chance to enjoy your work and know that you’re making a difference to a charity close to people’s hearts. In return we offer an excellent package which includes excellent basic and uncapped commissions.

This is not your average sales job – our people have real career prospects and great job satisfaction every day. Many have worked with us for years and have become team leaders and managers. You must be a great communicator and have sound people skills and importantly, you must be hardworking, motivated and dedicated. The role would suit door to door sales professionals from utilities and other sales backgrounds, experienced fundraisers with face to face people skills. On-going training, the tools to be the best you can and continual personal development are at the heart of our culture. The use of a car is desired due to the nature of the role as you will be required to drive to work within an operating location although those with good public transport links may be considered for some areas.
