Every day makes a difference …
£13,400 a day will pay for one whole day of hospice care
If you pay for a day, you’ll provide hospice care to our patients and their families. Your gift will cover all of the services we offer over a 24 hour period: the care on our In Patient Unit; the activities, therapies, support and advice provided through our range of Living Well and Family and Bereavement support services, and the expert care and support provided by our Hospice at Home team in the community. People often tell us what an incredible difference hospice services make to them; by paying for a day of care, you’ll also bring an invaluable sense of reassurance, comfort and calm to those living with life-shortening illnesses.
Your support will enable St Mary’s to keep making moments that matter.
Your day
Your day could honour someone’s memory or celebrate an occasion: like a birthday or anniversary, or even a national day of celebration like Mothers’ Day. Organisations and businesses may choose to mark a date of particular significance to them or their staff, or to remember a colleague. Whatever the reason, paying for a day’s hospice care is a unique way to make the day special.
We will celebrate with you
Your day will be special for you as well as the patients and families that we care for. We want you to enjoy, remember and be proud of your day. We’ll display a framed, personalised certificate in our reception on your chosen day which will then be sent to you to keep as a memento. If you’re happy for us to, we can also share your story on our website.
We’ll talk with you about how we can celebrate and thank you for your chosen day.
